Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars Presented by Burlington Overhead Door Kicks Off New Egypt Campaign on April 16th; Cicconi and Chambers Join the Fold

NEW EGYPT, NJ- April 7, 2016- The North East Wingless Sprint Cars presented by Burlington Overhead Door will kick off their second season at the New Egypt Speedway in New Egypt, NJ on Saturday, April 16th.
The newest drivers committing to the North East Wingless Sprint Cars presented by Burlington Overhead Door include legendary open wheel driver “Liquid” Lou Cicconi and Molly Chambers. Cicconi will pilot the Phil and PJ Oliver owned mount while Chambers purchased the car driven by Sam LaMothe to an exhibition win in 2015.
Cicconi, whose family is no stranger to open wheel competition, races everything from RC and Slot Cars to Super Modifieds to TQ Midgets. In addition to racing the wingless sprint, Cicconi will again be piloting his yellow number 75 358 Modified weekly at New Egypt. Cicconi can’t wait to climb behind the wheel of his Oliver owned wingless sprint car.
Molly Chambers, who began her career in 2007, is a Micro-Sprint and Slingshot graduate who hails from Clarks Summit, PA. In 2015, Molly competed at Action Track USA in Kutztown, PA. Chambers like Cicconi is ready to climb behind the wheel to get things kicked off on April 16th.
Saturday, April 16th, will be the first of three weeks straight that the North East Wingless Sprint Cars Presented by Burlington Overhead Door will compete at New Egypt.
