NARDELLI VISITS BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY’S VICTORY LANE FOR THE FOURTH TIME IN 2015
Sicklerville, NJ (June 15, 2015) – On Friday, June 12, Lee Nardelli visited Bridgeport Speedway’s victory lane for the fourth time in 2015.
In his qualifying event for the wingless 600cc Micro-Sprints, Nardelli took the checkered flag to claim his fifth heat race win of the season. In the 20-lap feature, Nardelli took the lead on the first circuit even though he started the race in sixth place. Nardelli was still setting the pace when the final caution period of the event occurred with three laps remaining. On the restart, Rob Vivona used the outside lane to grab the top spot away from Nardelli. The eventual winning driver returned to the lead by ducking below Vivona on the next lap and he led the rest of the way for the win. Nardelli was happy to increase his point lead in the wingless 600cc Micro-Sprint standings. While greeting fans following his latest triumph, he reflected on his success to date in 2015. “I am in a good spot. Everything is clicking right now,” said the victor. For his next event, Nardelli is planning to be at Bridgeport Speedway on Sunday, June 21 for the third Poker Series contest.
