NARDELLI INCHES CLOSER TO THE WINGLESS 600CC MICRO-SPRINT CHAMPIONSHIP AT BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY BY WINNING HIS NINTH FEATURE OF THE YEAR

Sicklerville, NJ (August 31, 2015) –Lee Nardelli inched closer to the wingless 600cc Micro-Sprint championship at Bridgeport Speedway by winning his ninth feature of the year on Friday, August 28.
Before the 20-lap main event, Nardelli won his heat race after starting on the pole. The Bridgeton, NJ driver started the feature contest in tenth place. As the race began, Nardelli was quickly on the move towards the front. With seven laps completed, he was in second place and trailing only Rob Vivona. On the next circuit, he took the lead from Vivona. From there, Nardelli would lead the remainder of the race to take the checkered flag. With only two point races left in the 2015 season, Nardelli has a comfortable ninety-nine point lead over Vivona and is focused on completing his goal for the year. “I feel like I am in a very good position. Hopefully, I can do what I need to do and get the championship,” commented Nardelli. His next race at Bridgeport Speedway will be on Friday, September 4.
