NAPA Auto Parts / Stafford Motor Speedway Relationship Continues to Grow
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Over 57 regional NAPA Auto Parts stores have agreed to participate in the 2015 season at Stafford Motor Speedway. In its second year of elite sponsorship at Stafford Motor Speedway, the number of participating NAPA outlets has grown to include 14 additional stores. This gives race fans additional locations to purchase discount event tickets for the 44th Annual NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler and additional events throughout the 2015 season. Tickets are available at all 57 participating NAPA Auto Parts stores beginning on Monday April 6th, along with a limited supply of NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler commemorative posters. “It was a great program for us last year”, said Geoff Watson, General Manager of NAPA Connecticut. “We were able to get our feet wet and are looking for even bigger and better things moving forward. Everything on our side was great, the NAPA store owners and NAPA customers we’re both excited to be involved with Stafford and have the opportunity to offer discount tickets at each of the participating stores.”
“We have 14 new stores on board with us for the 2015 season, the more stores the better because we have representation from more of our regional footprint and it’s less confusing for the customers,” explained Mike Wheeler, CT District Operation Manager of NAPA Auto Parts. “Everyone involved had a great time at Stafford last year and we’re looking to have even more customers coming to the track this year. We had a few customers that were already race fans but we had even more who became race fans through their interaction at Stafford for the headline NAPA Auto Parts events (Spring Sizzler, SK 5k, and Fall Final). Our plan is to have even more representation at the track this season and we’re looking to get even more customers to join us at the races. It was a positive beginning for us and we’re looking forward to having the relationship continue to grow.”
NAPA Auto Parts, the track’s Elite Corporate Sponsor, is the title sponsor of the track’s Spring Sizzler and Fall Final events. In their inaugural season NAPA Auto Parts brought an out of the box event to the half-mile, the NAPA SK 5k. Fans had the opportunity to vote on what they wanted to see, from race format to starting order. In addition an unprecedented purse of over $30,000 headlined the star studded event. Stafford Speedway and NAPA have already announced the return of the NAPA SK 5K for the 2015 season.

New for 2015 NAPA Auto Parts and Stafford Speedway will unite for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund Track Walk on Friday, July 17th. 100% of all the proceeds from the walk will be donated to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund in support of military personnel wounded or injured in service to our nation, and their families.
