Racing Set to Resume on Sunday, June 18th

VERNON, NY- June 4, 2017- With rain sweeping into the region and predicted to be around the remainder of the day, Utica-Rome Speedway management has cancelled racing for Sunday June 4. A-Verdi Storage Containers and Wilber-Duck Chevrolet were to present a full show of Gates-Cole Auto Insurance Modifieds, Broedel Energy Sportsman, Pro Stocks, and Novice Sportsman plus the GO Nuclear Late Model Series.

Racing will not return on the half-mile oval until Sunday June 18 when Community Car Wash and Wilber-Duck Chevrolet present a big show Gates-Cole Auto Insurance Modifieds, CRSA Sprints, King of Dirt Sportsman, and King of Dirt Pro Stock Series.

The speedway will not remain silent next weekend however as on Saturday June 10 the Utica-Rome Speedway will host Big Frog 104’s FrogFest 29. Country acts Chris Janson, Alexandria Corn, Eddie Arcuri, Lonesome Dove, and Tompkins Drive will headline the event that will also feature bull riding and more. On Sunday, June 11, AMA Motocross racing will hit the newly built motocross track at the Utica-Rome Speedway for the first time.
