PORT ROYAL, PA – For the first time in more than 30 years, Port Royal Speedway hosts the rumble of Modifieds on Friday, October 12.

The Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco big-block/small-block Modifieds roll into the Juniata County Fairgrounds for the ‘Speed Showcase’ as part of the series’ Velocita-USA South Region.

Modifieds will be featured in a 40-lap event paying a minimum of $5,000 to win, $1,000 for 10th and $400 just to take the green flag, the sixth of seven events en route to the $10,000 South Region championship.

This ‘Speed Showcase’ event will be highlighted by two headline divisions.

“Since we announced this event last November, people have been talking about bringing the Modifieds back to Port Royal Speedway,” STSS promoter Brett Deyo said. “The ‘Speed Showcase’ will mark the first time in our series history that we have been featured on the same program as the 410 Sprint Cars. Race fans will not want to miss this show!”
