Modified Twin 20’s Set For This Saturday April 27th at New Egypt Speedway

New Egypt, NJ – They say it’s a Fan’s Favorite but a Drivers Nightmare. Twin 20 lap Modified Features. Two races in one night for the Vahlco Wheels Modifieds, and it is this Saturday night, April 27th at New Egypt Speedway.

Billy Pauch Jr. leads the Modified points chase after three races followed closely by Plumstedville, PA’s Danny Bouc, Milford, NJ’s Mike Butler, and young gun’s Ryan Krachun and Brandon Grosso. Other perennial contenders include John McClelland, Billy Osmun, Davey Sammons, Cale Ross and Brian Papiez who is fresh off his first career Modified win this past Saturday.

The Larry’s Hot Rods & Harley’s Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars will be in action for their third event of the 2019 season. Can Rich Mellor or Jermain Godshall keep up their winning ways or will Heidi Hedin or the ageless Stan Ploski pick up their first wins of the 2019 campaign?

The Hammer Sportsman are back this week for week two of their season. Point leader Jim Housworth looks to go two-for-two over the likes of JT Trstensky, Steve Davis, Joseph Brown, David Burns, Art Liedl and 2018 champ Bob Lineman Jr.

The always-entertaining Street Stocks will be on the card as well. Bill Liedtka picked up the win on opening night followed closely by Jon Meyer, Brian Ludwig, Billy Wroble and Vern McLaughlin.

Rounding out the card will be the Lyons Construction/Metal Fab Rookie Sportsman. One of the best rookie fields we have seen in a long time includes two-time winner Ryan Godown Jr., Anthony Tramontanta Jr., Vinny Troia, Ryan Krushinski, DJ Hunt, Zachary Merola and father-and-son combo in Nick and Jim VanWickle.

Competitors can begin to enter the pits at 3:00 p.m. with the spectator ticket window opening at 4:00 p.m. Hot laps get cranked up at 5:00 p.m. and the first green flag waves at 6:00 p.m. Admission to the grandstand is $25 for adults, $23 for seniors 65 and older, $15 for teens 12-15, $15 for military personal and their spouses with ID, and Kids 11 & under are FREE.
