MILLSTONE, N.J. ~ Young veteran Modified stock car driver Danny Bohn will be returning to his family’s roots at Wall Stadium Speedway this Saturday (Oct. 24) as he will drive for Scott Brannick in the North American Construction No. 51 in the “Haunted Hundred” for Modified stock cars. The annual five division stock car racing event, called “The Thriller,” features the Modified stock cars in a 100-lap, $5,000 to win main event.

Bohn, the 2014 driving champion at the Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C. and four-time Bowman Gray Modified winner in 2015, is no stranger to Wall Stadium’s third mile high banked oval. In fact, his grandfather Parker Bohn and father Eddie Bohn were both driving champions and multi-time feature winners at the track.

“It feels great to be going back to Wall Stadium where it all began for my family,” Danny Bohn said. “I’m also real happy to be racing for Scott Brannick. Scott has a reputation for owning beautiful and very fast equipment. Winning is his ultimate goal. What more could a driver ask from a car-owner.”

North American Construction in Brick, N.J., Brice’s NAPA Auto Supply in Freehold, N.J. and JT Motorsports in Howell, N.J sponsor Bohn’s No. 51 Modified. Bilstein shock absorbers has also joined the team as an associate sponsor for the race. The team’s new Troyer Modified is powered by a MB Race Engines prepared engine and was lettered by O’Neil Designs.

“This opportunity came up and it is good for both our race team and for Danny,” team owner Scott Brannick said. “I’m excited to get racing and to see how we do with the new car. We can’t wait for this Saturday.

“Danny will also be in the car for Turkey Derby at Wall Stadium in November and when his schedule allows in 2016.”

In addition to fielding the car for Bohn Scott Brannick will also see competition as he races the team’s companion car No. 51 in Saturday’s Sportsman division 50-lap race. Brannick’s Sportsman car is his team’s former Modified racer that won twice at Wall Stadium this season. In addition Brick’s Ronnie Mullen will be making a start in the team’s No. 51 Factory Stock on October 24.
