(LEHIGHTON, Pa. 6-23-15) Mahoning Valley Speedway is set for another night of short track stock car racing this coming Saturday, June 27 with the return of the Modified Triple 25s.

Introduced in 2012, the Modified Triple 25s became an immediate success thanks to the all-out excitement generated by the three thrilling features. There’s no holding back as flat-out, hard charging action from start to finish has drivers and fans on the edge of exhilaration.

Each 25-lapper pays $1000 to win. In order to make the grid cars must qualify through heat races with the top 15 locked into the first feature. All others will then run in the consolation heat for the final starting spots. 20 cars will start in each race.

The second and third features will be inverted with a fan from the grandstand picking a pill to determine the invert number of either 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12.

Eligible invert cars must have finished on the lead lap after the most recent completed feature. Alternates will be added as needed after features one and two. If a car that started the first main and is sidelined for the second but can return for the third race, then the alternate will be displaced.

Regular championship points will be calculated after each of the three features.

Late Models, Street Stocks, Pro 4s and Hobby Stocks are also in action. At intermission Kids Big Wheel Races will take place.

Adult general admission is $20, $2 off for students, seniors 65+ and active military. Must have ID. Children 10 years old and under are free. Main gates open at 4:00 and racing starts at 6:00. Early paid practice will run from 1:00 to 3:30. Regular practice begins at 4:30.
