Lucrative Payout Brings 410 Sprint Car Drivers From All Over to Party at the Path, This Sunday October 18 at Path Valley Speedway

SPRING RUN, Pa. (October 15, 2015) – The boldest and the brightest stars of central Pennsylvania’s Sprint Car scene – and a slew of Ohio-based outsiders — descend upon the Path Valley Speedway this Sunday, October 18, as Fred Rahmer Promotions present the 2015 finale of the Party at The Path events. Side-by-side action is guaranteed on the Spring Run, PA bullring with a lucrative 410 Sprint Car payout that includes a $6,600 top prize, $1,100 for the tenth position and $500 to start the 40 lap event.

“Our main goal is to give back to the drivers and the fans, that’s been our goal all year long,” promoter Fred Rahmer said. “We’ve put up, what I feel, is a substantial payout and plan on moving the show along in a timely manner. No messing around on Sunday.”

Along with a payout that would make any true racer’s mouth water, the bonus bucks are plentiful including: a $500 ‘Quick Time’ bonus, a $500 Invader bonus, a $200 Hard Charger Bonus, a $500 bonus to win a heat race from outside the front row, $200 for a heat race win from the front row and a Non-Qualifiers event with a $500 guarantee and the possibility of reaching $1,700.

Area favorites Danny Dietrich, Lucas Wolfe, Brian Montieth, and Brent Marks challenge invaders Cody Darrah, Greg Wilson, Dale Blaney, Danny Holtgraver and Cole Duncan.

The 600cc Micro Sprints are also on the card with a 25 lap event that will pay $1,000 to the winner. A $500 total pot will also be divvied up among Heat race winners – winners from the front row will receive $75, while winners from outside the front row will pick up $125 for their efforts. Any unclaimed bonus bucks will be awarded to the first non-qualified car.

The 600cc Micro Sprint point battle is tight with just 110 points separating the top five competitors. Tyler Walton leads the standings, with Aaron Spar, Heath Hehnly, Jason Sechrist, and Kyle Lick rounding out the top five. The winner of the point standings – as well as a random driver that has participated in all of the #PartyAtThePath events – will receive a test session aboard an RBR Racing 410 Sprint Car.

Hoosier Racing Tire has offered up free right rear tires to competitors in both the 410 Sprint Car and 600 Micro Sprint division. 410 drivers will be awarded right rear tires in a random drawing based on the suggestions of fans in attendance. The 600cc Micro sprints will be awarded right rear Hoosier Tires in a blind draw.

Sunday, October 18 is Armed Forces Appreciation Night – active and retired military members are invited to attend and will be offered half-price general admission tickets.

All the action takes place on Sunday, October 18 with the gates opening at Noon, Warm-ups at 4:30 and Time Trials starting at 5 PM.

General Admission tickets are $20 and children under 12 are admitted FREE! NEW Premium Grandstand Seating is available for $25 and General Pit Access is $30.
