Three Unique Events Featured Over Holiday Weekend

The nation’s top dirt late model drivers will converge on three unique venues, with over $170,000 in total prize money up for grabs.

The action will kick off on Friday, September 2nd, at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, OH. A complete racing program is on tap for the LOLMDS, which includes: Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and a 50-lap, $10,000-to-win main event. Friday night’s event will also include a $5,000-to-win program for the F.A.S.T. 410 Sprints. On Saturday, September 3rd, the LOLMDS will return to Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, OH. The Pepsi 60 River Days Rumble will include: Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and a 60-lap, $12,000-to-win main event. The Modifieds and Bombers will serve as a support division on September 3rd. Scott Bloomquist picked up his second victory of the weekend in 2015 and claimed the Pepsi 50 River Days Rumble over Jimmy Owens, Jonathan Davenport, Don O’Neal, and Steve Francis. The event will feature a complete program of: Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and the 100-lap, $25,000-to-win main event. In 2015, Scott Bloomquist completed the weekend sweep with his “Hillbilly Hundred” victory over Don O’Neal, Jonathan Davenport, Steve Francis, and Devin Moran.

Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, WV is a ¼ mile dirt oval, nestled in the hills of scenic West Virginia, along the historic Middle Island Creek.
