BREWERTON, NY – August 29, 2017 – Labor Day weekend is usually a sign that summer is almost over, vacations end and kids return to school. This Friday, September 1 the Brewerton Speedway and Schneider Packaging Equipment Company will help you forget that with a night of racing excitement and thrills. St. Baldrick’s will also be on hand with a fundraiser that will have something for everyone.
Seeing action on the “D-Shaped Dirt Demon” will be some of the best 360 Sprint Car racers in the Northeast when the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints invade the Route 11 speedway. Joining them will be the 800 horsepower Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds, SUNY Canton Sportsman and the Firehouse Subs Mod Lites.
Adult grandstand admission is $20 with everyone 18 years old and younger FREE. Pit admission is $35. Grandstands open at 5:30 with racing at 7:30.
The last time the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints invaded the speedway in June, thirty cars signed into the pits. When the checkered flag waved in their 25-lap A-Main, crowd favorite Chuck Hebing pulled into victory lane. Coleman Gulick, Paulie Colagiovanni, Jonathan Preston and Brewerton Modified racer Larry Wight finished second through fifth.

The fine folks from St. Baldrick’s “Let’s take childhood back from cancer,” will be on hand with an exciting event throughout the evening known as “Getting D.I.R.T.y for the kids.”
When most people think of St. Bladrick’s they think of shaving of your hair. You get to keep your hair. This will be a Chinese Auction style fundraiser. Event Organizer Shawn Hunter said, “If you don’t walk out of the track with something, you weren’t at my event.”
