By Dave Medler (Baldwinsville, NY) – SFI 38.1 approved head and neck restraints will be required for use by all competitors at Brewerton and Fulton Speedway beginning in 2016. The rule can be found under section V of the General and Safety Rules section of the Fulton and Brewerton rules pages as written below:

2. Head and Neck Restraint Devices

a. SFI 38.1 approved head and neck restraint systems are required for use by all participants in all classes at Fulton Speedway and Brewerton Speedway.

b. Various manufacturers offer SFI 38.1 certified products including Simpson Racing Products, HANS and Impact Racing, however, only those identified with a SFI 38.1 logo/designation will be permitted.

Scott Jeffery’s Performance Plus is a local source for purchase and fitment instructions and can be reached at (315) 934-4120. Major parts warehouses such as Bicknell, Behrent’s and Summit all offer approved head and neck devices.
