BECHTELSVILLE, PA August 16, 2017 . . . Next up at Grandview Speedway is one of the most popular nights of the season as Hatfield Quality Meats is the sponsor and with them comes their mascot Smiley who makes fans happy as he tosses t-shirts and hot dogs into the stands. Four divisions of racing competition are featured for the same regular low adult admission price of $15 while youngsters 11 and under are admitted free. Included in the exciting night of NASCAR stock car racing and more will be the TP Trailers 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models and Sportsman stock cars plus the Blast from the Past Vintage racers.
Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. with racing set to start at 7:30 p.m. And at 5 p.m. the very popular Low Down and Dirty Meet and Greet featuring racers and their race cars on display in the front gate area. Included this Saturday will be Late Model racer Andy Cassell along with Sportsman talents Ryan Beltz and Dylan Swinehart.
Rained out last Saturday Geiswite Creations will be holding their 4th Annual Back to School Giveaway with more than 100 school age children receiving a folder, notebook and pencils. Some youngsters will receive backpacks.
The WNPV Radio Night rained out last weekend has been rescheduled for September 9th when Champions Night is presented.
Just four Saturday night events remain in the season point battles for all three divisions and that includes August 19, BRC Late Models Night on the 26th, September 2nd and WNPV Radio Championship night on September 9.
Fans are reminded that advance tickets for the $30,000 to win 47th Annual Freedom 76 In Memory of Bruce Rogers, set for September 16th, will be on sale for $35 while on race day they will be priced at $40. Youngsters 6 through 11 pay $10 and under 6 are admitted free.
Fans that would like to sponsor a lap for this very special Freedom 76, remembering the late Bruce Rogers, can do so at the track for just $20. See Tina Rogers or Tommy Kramer. Or lap money may be mailed to Ernie Saxton, 1448 Hollywood Avenue, Langhorne, PA 19047. Make checks payable to Grandview Speedway and include what wording should be included with the lap or laps purchased.
Qualifying event sponsorships are priced at $200 which includes a ¼ page ad in the special event program along with the lap sponsors.
