Hammer Electric Championship Night This Saturday Night At New Egypt Speedway

New Egypt, NJ – Championship Night 2019 is upon us at New Egypt Speedway. Track champions in all of our weekly support divisions (Larry’s Hot Rods & Harley’s Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars, Hammer Sportsman, Crate Modifieds, Street Stocks and Mike’s Performance Center 4-Cylinders) will be crowned and it will all be presented by Hammer Electric this Saturday night. It will also be ¼ Midget Night this Saturday night, all area ¼ Midget racers are invited to put their ¼ Midgets on display and take part in our parade around the track during intermission.

Heading into Hammer Electric Championship Night track championships have already been decided in the Vahlco Wheels Modifieds (Billy Pauch Jr.), Larry’s Hot Rods & Harley’s Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars (Rich Mellor) and the Street Stocks (Bill Liedtka).

Heading into Saturday’s Hammer Sportsman event Steve Davis holds a six-point margin over Jim Housworth. 2018 track champion Bob Lineman Jr. sits third with 546, Sportsman newcomer John Criscione is fourth with 532 and Joseph Brown is fifth with 521 points.

The Crate Modifieds have the closest of margins going into this Saturday’s Championship Night. Joe Toth leads Johnny Bangs by just two points going into Saturday’s event with third place Ryan Simmons sitting third just ten points behind Toth. Ryan Heim is currently fourth with Steve Hicks rounding out the top five.

In the Mike’s Performance 4-Cylinders Mike Fox holds just an eight-point advantage of 2018 track champion Joe Garey Sr. Joe Garey Jr. is currently third with Dominick Antonelli and Jimmy Avery completing the top five.

Adult Admission (16+) is $20, Seniors (65+) are $18, Teens (12-15) & Military w/ID are $10 while Kids 11 & Under are FREE. Pit gates will open at 4PM with the grandstands opening at 5PM. Hot Laps are scheduled for 6PM with racing scheduled to begin at 7PM next Saturday.
