Bobby Allison Returns As Event Grand Marshall

pm__beachblast-63Georgetown Del.- October 13, 2016- Georgetown Speedway returns to action this Friday, October 14 for the first time in a month-and-a-half with a jam-packed show!

Modifieds race 25 laps for $3,000 to win, $500 for 10th and $250 to start. This will be a draw/redraw event.

Super Late Models will have an open event – 20 laps – offering a $2,000 winner’s share, with $200 to take the green flag thanks to a host of marketing partners.

Both the Modified and Super Late Model winners will earn guaranteed starting positions for the Mid-Atlantic Championship race in November.

Additionally, NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Bobby Allison will serve as the night’s “Grand Marshall” and will be available to meet fans at the track from 5:15-6:15 p.m. Allison’s appearance is sponsored in part by Stockley Tavern, just south of the speedway on Route 113.

Crate 602 Sportsman and a full program will complete the event with Southern Delaware Vintage Stock Cars, Little Lincolns, Delmarva Chargers and Delaware Super Trucks.

Pit gates will open at 4 p.m. Grandstands open at 5 p.m.  Racing gets underway at 6:20 p.m., with racing at 7:15 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $18 for Adults, $14 for Seniors (ages 65 and up) and Students (ages 13-17). Kids 9-12 are $10. Children eight and under are FREE. Pit admission is $30 with no license required.
