Twin Features Paying $1,000 To Win Each With Bonuses Available

017SUSSEX, NJ- June 20, 2016- Brett Hearn’s Big Show 8 is just about set to take the green flag on June 28th at the great race place, Albany-Saratoga Speedway. News has broke about presenting sponsors including Recovery Sports Grill, Halmar International, Ferris Commercial Mowers, VP Racing Fuels, and Cedar Peaks Enterprises. Follow that with information regarding Kenny Wallace returning to the Capital Region to compete in dirt NE Big Block Modified competition against the best-of-the-best and things start getting electrifying. Now thanks to Fox Shocks the accompanying Crate Sportsman races are shaping into a ‘Big Crate Show’ of their own.

Sportsman have been part of Brett Hearn’s Big Show program on three occasions now, with the first appearance back in 2011 when Brian Krummel claimed victory. Again Sportsman were part of the program in 2014 with Joey Scarborough and Jeremy Pitts picking up Big Show wins. Last year (2015) the Sportsman again drew large numbers with Nick Lussier and Rocky Warner ending up victorious in the twin features.

During Brett Hearn’s Big Show 8 the stars and cars of Crate Sportsman racing will once again see a double feature format. Drivers will take part in timed warm up sessions that split the entered cars into two main events. From there the top 12 drivers in each feature will redraw for starting positions in the 20-Lap features.

022Growing the entire Big Show program is of course a goal for Brett Hearn, which is why this year he struck a partnership with Fox Shocks to sponsor the Sportsman program. Each of the two scheduled Sportsman feature events will pay $1,000 to win, however if a driver is running Fox Shocks there is an additional $250 bonus making it a possible $1250 to win.

Mark down the date of June 28, 2016 for one of the summer’s must see events. Brett Hearn’s Big Show 8 at Albany-Saratoga Speedway, as part of the Big Block Modified Super DIRTcar Series will surely be a star-studded field including NASCAR’s very own Kenny Wallace. Also on tap are twin 20 Sportsman features paying $1,000 to win each sponsored by Fox Shocks.

There have been seven previous Brett Hearn’s Big Show events to date. This year marks number five at the great race place. Billy Decker (2009, 2011) and Jimmy Phelps (2010, 2015) are the only repeat winners of Brett Hearn’s Big Show. Other winners include: Bobby Varin (2012), Brett Hearn (2013), and Danny Johnson (2014).
