BECHTELSVILLE, PA April 29, 2015 . . . There will be something extra in the pay envelope for feature winners at Grandview Speedway this Saturday courtesy of Ingersoll Rand Tools. Each winner will receive a tool package valued at approximately $600. This will be the first of four Ingersoll Rand Nights at Grandview this season.

The $600 package from Ingersoll Rand, the big bucks from T.P. Trailers, the product awards from VP Racing Fuels, the halfway prize from Boyertown, PA’s Dan’s Deli and the product certificates from Cargo Trailers along with the awards from Bernheisel Racing added to the lucrative prize money helps to create the exciting racing action at the Berks County clay oval. All the racers want to be able to earn some of the perks.

Coming up on Saturday night, May 2nd, as part of Ingersoll Rand Night, will be a NASCAR sanctioned tripleheader card of stock car racing featuring the 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models and Sportsman stock cars. A full series of qualifying heats is presented leading up to a 30-lap main event for the Modifieds and 25-lap features for both the BRC Late Models and Sportsman. Racing will get the green flag at 7:30 p.m. That is the new starting time that will be in place for the balance of the season leading up to the season closing Freedom 76 Modified Classic set for September 12. Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. with the Low Down and Dirty Meet & Greet set to take place at the same time and will feature Sportsman racer Jordan Henn, Late Model competitor David Ogin and a NASCAR 358 Modified racer to be announced.

Adult admission for the regular Saturday night event is $15 while youngsters 11 and under are admitted free. Active military are admitted free with current ID.

A lucky fan will have a chance to win an IR Power Tools bag along with two tickets for a future Grandview event by participating, starting May 2nd in the Text to Win contest. One winner is chosen each week, from May through August, from those who text “IRToolsGRV” to 313131. Fans should plan to participate each week.

Saturday night Modified action will feature two feature winner Duane Howard along with single feature winners Craig VonDohren and Kyle Weiss. Ten time champion Jeff Strunk is still looking for that elusive first win as is Meme DeSantis, Tim Buckwalter, Doug Manmiller, and a host of others.

BRC Late Model action has been intense with four different winners in the four features run this season. And Brett Kressley has won three of the four Sportsman features run this season with a number of talented racers looking to take a victory.

Whelen Engineering will sponsor the Saturday, May 9 Mom’s Night NASCAR Tripleheader which will feature the 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models and Sportsman stock cars. In recognition of Mother’s Day. The first 200 moms entering through the main spectator gate will received a “pop cake” courtesy of Grandview Speedway. Tammy Auman Photography will present 100 moms with a bottle of Natural Hand Lotion from Green Lemon Spa. And 50 moms making their way through the pit gate will receive a Green Lemon Spa gift bag.
