The New York Super Stocks would hit the track with 27 cars set to take the green. Ajay Potrzebowski in his #72 would jump out into the lead from the outside pole. On lap 2 the #19 of Rob Pocobellowith would end up in the turn one wall backward sustaining damage that would force him to retire. Potrzebowski would again take the lead over the #23 of Robert Fink and the #09 of Andy Cryan would soon race his way into the third position making his way to the front quickly.

We would see the #76 of Chuck Anderson spin on lap 5 and the #12 of Troy Williams would tag the wall as he tried to avoid. Caution would fly again on lap 15 for the #02 of Justin Myers who would spin in front of the last half of the field. He would not sustain any major damage and upon the restart Cryan would overtake Potzrebowski with the car to beat until, the #12 of Troy Williams would slow high on the backstretch and then collect the #36 of Brian Hallett in between turns 3 and 4. During this caution we would see Cryan pull his car to the pits and unfortunately retire due to a cracked thermostat housing.

When we attempted to get the race back underway we would see the #02 of Justin Myers slide through the infield on the back stretch and back out onto the turn three racing surface bringing lots of water along with him.

Potrzebowski would again take the lead with Tim Gullo in the #07 right behind and #48 of Eric Brown in the third position. They would run in this order through to lap 47 when caution would fly for the #07 of Gullo as he slowed on the front stretch and retired to the pits. Upon this restart we would see 4 more laps of racing action with Potzrebowski taking the checkered closely followed by Brown, #7 of Josh Hunter, #89 of Frank Chapman, #76 of Chuck Anderson and the #5 of Jacob Gustafson. Upon post race inspection however Potzrebowski would be disqualified and the win would be awarded to the #48 of Eric Brown.

Congratulations also goes to the #75 of Zach Willis and his team. Consistency pays of this season with the 2019 New York Superstocks series Championship.
