DELPHI DEMOLITION JOINS AS CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT RACE SPONSOR FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY; $500 TO WIN, $165 TO START –PLUS!– $250 IN LAP MONEY!

BECHTELSVILLE, PA – With the 2018 season winding down to a close with a heated points battle finally coming to an end this Friday, September 14th at Grandview Speedway, the Delaware Auto Exchange Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series has partnered with Sewell, NJ’s Delphi Contracting & Demolition to raise the stakes on Championship Night!
Delphi Contracting has upped the purse an extra $1000, making it $500 to win and $165 to start. Second through fifth place will be awarded with $325, $280, $250, and $220, with an increase in payout throughout the rest of the field will be seen as well. On top of this, $250 in lap money ($10 a lap led in the twenty-five lap feature) will be up for grabs as well.
Additional contingency awards include $50 cash to each heat race winner presented by Professional Design Services, Freiberger Excavating, and Bruce’s Auto Body, a $50 gift certificate to Keizer Sprint Wheels for the worst pill draw of the night, the $25 Bitner Automotive ‘Lightning Fast Time of the Night’ bonus, 5 gallons of fuel to the winner of each heat race event and feature, courtesy of Kelly Racing Fuels, a $25 Todd’s Performance gift certificate, the “Burning Rubber Bonus” which is a BRAND NEW Hoosier Racing Racesaver Spec Right Rear tire courtesy of Thayer Performance, the Fred’s Trailers $25 Hard Charger Award and the CRC Industries Brakleen feature redraw concludes the list of extras up for grabs for members of the Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series.

Owner Mike Pjatikin, has a long and successful history in the 600 Micro Sprint scene, recently winning the Winged Outlaw Finale at the 2017 Tulsa Shootout with hot shoe Christopher Bell behind the wheel of his Pjatikin Motorsports 600 Micro Sprint this past December.
Tim Tanner Jr. – the current point leader by 15 points over second place standing and owner of one feature win at Bridgeport Speedway in 2018 Rick Stief – finally won his first race at Grandview Speedway Inc. at MASS’ last appearence “on the hill” back in June, and is looking to make a come back this week, after receiving third degree burns on his hands and arms during a pit side accident at BAPS Motor Speedway in August.
Several additional drivers looking forward to pocketing the $500 prize this Friday are “Flyin” Ryan Stillwaggon, double time 2018 feature winner Eddie Wagner, “Downtown” Dave Brown, Jeff Geiges, “The Blonde Bomber” Austin Bishop, Bobby Scherff, Tom Carberry Brendon Poff, Joe Kay, and 2018 Rookie of the Year contenders Cj Faison and Jason Dunnwill all be in attendance.
Pits are scheduled to open at 3PM, grandstand gates opening to fans at 5:30 with warm-ups beginning at 6:30 and the first green flag scheduled to open at 7:30PM. General Admission for Adults is $12; Children (6-11): $5; Under 6: FREE and Pit Admission is $30.
