With an exciting and diverse schedule on tap for the 2018 season, the Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series is excited to announce that the Delaware Auto Exchange has signed on to be the title sponsor for the upcoming season.
“When I went to MASS’ last race at Georgetown Speedway late last October, I was impressed with the positive atmosphere and family-like vibe that I experienced walking through the pits that night,” President of DEA, CJ Faison explained. “Looking to get into racing again myself, I decided that night that I wanted to be a part of this group not only as a driver, but as a sponsor as well”.
Very into Social Media marketing himself, Faison said he was “impressed” with the marketing strategies that the Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series utilized, and found that he operated the Delaware Auto Exchange on a similar basis, stating that “social media is the present and will continue into the future,” and that he saw the potential to not only grow the Delaware Auto Exchange’s business by teaming up with MASS, but with his experience and background, he wants to help make the Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series the “premier division that it deserves to be recognized as”.
The Delaware Auto Exchange is a household name in the Delmarva area, as they are acknowledged as one of largest auto auctions on the Eastern Shore. This public and dealer auto auction has been independently owned since 1996, and recently after twenty years of hard work and leadership, CEO Ron Faison named his twenty-four-year-old son, CJ Faison, President of the company.
“I hope to grow the fan-base of this division,” CJ stated. “After doing my research and after meeting people at the Motorsports Expo last month, I see great potential in bringing MASS to the next level, while promoting our company as well”.
“We are very excited to be working with the Faisons and the Delaware Auto Exchange this year,” Regional Director Eddie Wagner said. “CJ’s marketing ideas go along great with what we would like to accomplish in bringing the Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series to the next level. We got a chance to spend a few days with CJ and his crew at Motorsports, and not only are we excited to have him on board as a sponsor, but we are happy to have him join us on the track as well”.
“Racing is supposed to be 110% fun to me, and I think after everything that I have ever raced in my life, that racing with MASS will definitely accomplish this for me,” Faison said. “I have always wanted to run a Sprint Car, but my family wouldn’t allow it. But now I’m able to afford it myself, so I’m going for it!”
The Delaware Auto Exchange has auctions open to the public & dealers every Thursday nights, beginning at 6:30PM. To contact DEA, call them at 1-800-608-2727, visit their website at www.delawareautoexchange.com, or check out their Facebook page Delaware Auto Exchange!
The Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series presented by the Delaware Auto Exchange will kick off their season at New Egypt Speedway on Saturday, April 14th. This will be the first time the IMCA/Racesaver sanctioned 305 Sprint Cars will return to the Central New Jersey D-shaped oval since 2016, when the division was run under the Tri-State Racesaver Sprint Series (TSRS) banner.
