by Tommy Goudge (December 3, 2014) – Ohsweken Speedway officials are proud to announce their partnership with Creative Edge Signs & Graphics of Kitchener, Ontario, which will see the company become the official sponsor of heat races for the Strickland’s GMC Crate Sprint Car division in 2015.

Steve Lyons, co-founder of Creative Edge Signs & Graphics, started in vehicle graphics as a teenager by lettering race cars at local race tracks. Creative Edge co-founder Steve Lyons is not only joining as a sponsor of the Crate Sprint Cars, but will also compete in the division as a driver in 2015. The new division produced solid car counts and good competition in its first season, and has drawn attention from drivers and teams all over Ontario.

Founded in 1996, Ohsweken Speedway is a motorsports complex which includes a 3/8 (0.375) mile clay oval track. The facility is owned by the Styres family, and located in the village of Ohsweken, Ontario, Canada. Ohsweken’s weekly Friday night racing program runs from May to September each year, featuring 360 Sprint Cars, Crate Sprint Cars, Thunder Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Bombers, while the season finishes each year with the annual Canadian Sprint Car Nationals.
