B. Swartz Transport becomes official sponsor of NEPA Race Car Show…Racers Night Out to be held at Lobitz Catering Hall as part of week-long event

(WEST HAZLETON, PA. 1-19-15) The 2nd Annual NEPA Race Car Show which takes place the week of February 9-15 at the Laurel Mall in West Hazleton, is proud to welcome B. Swartz Transport as the official show sponsor.

Modified and Late Model racer Billy Swartz, proprietor of B. Swartz Transport, which is located in Lehighton, has graciously agreed to become the official sponsor of this year’s mall show. Swartz is a competitor at Lehighton’s Mahoning Valley Speedway and will be running two cars this season at the paved ¼-mile oval. Both his mounts will be on display at the show.

On Friday, February 13, at 7:00 pm, everyone is invited to a “Racers Night Out” which will be held at Lobitz Catering Hall in Hazle Township. Just a short drive from the Laurel Mall and located directly behind Fairway Chevrolet off PA Route 309, the Racers Night Out will be a great evening for all who attend.

Noted videographer Mike O’Brien of MoTorsport Video Production will be providing an array of racing videos to be shown throughout the night. Also Bob Hatcher, who maintains the hugely popular Evergreen/Mahoning/Dorney Facebook page with loads of racing pictures of those tracks and many others across Pennsylvania, will be running a pictorial slide show of great memories. Driver interviews, both past and present, will also take place.

The cost is $10 per person and host Stan Lobitz, who is widely respected throughout the racing fraternity and plays a key role at the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing in York Springs, will be offering a great menu. There will be a cash bar.

During the weeklong NEPA Race Car Show fans will be able to take in a wide array of racing vehicles that compete throughout northeastern Pennsylvania. Spots continue to fill as the event nears.

Dirt and asphalt Modifieds, Late Models, Street Stocks, NASCAR and ARCA Stock cars, drag cars, road racers, Slingshots, TQ Midgets, EXCEL Modifieds, Micro Sprints, ¼-Midgets, go-karts and more will be part of the show.
