The fourth Annual Thunder Cup Championship for sprint cars will return to Grandview Speedway on Thursday night, August 23rd in an event sanctioned by the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions. This will mark the 131st race of the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series and is presented by Levan Machine & Truck Equipment.

Previous Thunder Cup winners include Greg Hodnett (2015), Danny Dietrich (2016) and Dale Blaney (2017). All three drivers are expected to be in the field to chase the $5,000 to win 35 lap feature along with many others who complete on the All Star Circuit of Champions tour. The 358 NASCAR Modifieds will be on the race card as well. After a series of qualifying events, the modifieds will duke it out in a 30 lap $3,000 to win feature event.

On Thursday night, August 23, gates will open at 5 PM with race time set for 7:30 PM. Adult admission prices are $30, children 6-11 $10 and kids 5 and under will be admitted for free. The pit fee is $35 and a license is not required.

For advance tickets, please call 443-513-4456, clearly speak your first and last name and tell us the number of tickets you would like. You may pick-up an pay for your tickets on race night (Thursday, August 23) after 4 PM at the Will Call Window. All advance ticket holders may enter the grandstands at 4:30 PM, one half hour prior to general admission tickets going on sale. Advance tickets may be ordered daily until 9 AM on race day. On race day, tickets go on sale at 5 PM.

Thunder on the Hill welcomes the return of Levan Machine & Truck Equipment back to Grandview as they are the event sponsor for Thursday, August 23. Fans may camp out at the Speedway for the ultimate Thunder on the Hill experience. Campers are asked to park in the turn 4 parking area, there are no hook-ups available, and no box camping allowed. Track officials ask that all fires be contained. There is no fee for camping.
