6th Annual All Star Cup Shootout Set For Saturday October 20th At New Egypt Speedway

New Egypt, NJ – New Egypt Speedway’s final race of the 2018 season will be held on Saturday night October 20th and a big one it will be, the 6th Annual All Star Cup Shootout.

The Modifieds will do battle in a 60-Lap shootout paying $6,000 to the winner and $400 just to start the event. Watch as expected invaders include Pennsylvania’s Jeff Strunk, Frank Cozze, and Duane Howard take on NES regulars that include 2018 track champion David VanHorn, Ryan Godown, Danny Bouc, Ryan Krachun, recent Legends of the Fall 75 winner Billy Pauch Jr., 2017 All Star Cup Winner Brandon Grosso and many more.

The inaugural All Star Cup was held in 2013 with Philipsburg, NJ’s Gary Butler picking up the win. The 2014 edition saw Billy Pauch Jr. picking up the first of his two All Star Cup wins; he would win the 2016 edition as well. Duane Howard picked up the 2015 version while Brandon Grosso scored his first career Modified in in last year’s event.

The Hammer Sportsman, Crate Modifieds and Larry’s Hot Rods & Harley’s Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars will also be on the card.

Pit Gates will open at 3PM on October 20th, Spectator Gates will open at 4PM with Hot Laps scheduled for 5PM and racing slated to begin at 6PM. Adult admission is $25, Seniors (65 & up) are $23, Teens (12-15) & Military w/ID are $15 while Kids 11 & Under are FREE! Pit admission will be $40.

New Egypt Speedway is located on Route 539 just minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure and the New Jersey Turnpike. A racy 7/16-mile D-shaped dirt oval, New Egypt Speedway serves Garden State race fans with some of the best competition in the country.
