Tony’s Meat Market of Minersville, PA will be the sponsor of this week’s racing on Friday July 31st at the Big Diamond Speedway. Tony’s Meat Market is the supplier of quality fresh and smoked meats and is open seven days a week.

The Insigner Performance Modifieds will once again be running for some extra cash this Friday courtesy of promoters Jake & Jasmine Smulley. The modifieds will race an extra five laps this Friday shooting for the $4000 to win payday in their 30-lap main event. So far in 2020 we have yet to see a repeat winner in the modified division. Jared Umbenhauer, Mike Gular, Craig Von Dohren, Timmy Buckwalter, Matt Stangle, Jeff Strunk and last week’s winner Alex Yankowski have all visited victory lane so far this season with each looking to be the first driver to score win number two. Jeff Strunk has moved to the top spot in the quest for the 2020 championship followed closely by Craig Von Dohren and Mike Gular.

After a week off, the U.S.S Achey Open Sportsman will be back in action on Friday night. The Open Sportsman will also be shooting for some extra cash this week with the 20-lap main event paying $1000 to the winner. Brad Brightbill leads the way for the 2020 points title and is the only driver to score multiple wins in the division. Brandon Edgar and Cole Stangle trail Brightbill in the points standings.

The Savage 61 Crate 602 Division returns to action once again this Friday as they race in a 20-lap main event. Cody Manmiller, Joey Vaccaro and Joel Smith have all picked up wins the crate division this season. The competition is extraordinarily strong in the new for 2020 division with no drivers having more than one win. Manmiller leads the point standings over Shon Elk and Joey Vaccaro.

Completing the racing card on Friday night will be the ultra-competitive Red White and Blue Autos Roadrunner division. Always a crowd favorite when this division takes to the track for their weekly 20-lap feature race and don’t expect this week to be any different. Last Friday’s winner Chris Holland leads in the quest for the 2020 championship followed closely behind by Eric Schoffstall and Jim Kost.

Gates will open Friday night at 5:30pm with warmups taking the track at 7:15pm, racing will get underway at 7:45pm.

General admission for Friday night is $20, Seniors $18. Kids 16 and under are admitted free this Friday and as always, active military with a valid ID are free.
