OAKS, PA September 19, 2019 . . . When the Pioneer Pole Buildings Motorsports 2020 Presented By Sunoco Distributed By Insinger Performance Race Car And Trade Show opens on Friday, January 17th one special attraction that is sure to attract a huge amount of attention will be the Orange County Fair Speedway Reunion.
In 2019 the historic dirt track in Middletown, N.Y. celebrated their 100th year of operation. The celebration will continue at Pioneer Pole Buildings Motorsports 2020, a three-day show returning to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA for an 11th year on Friday, Saturday and Sunday January 17th – 19th.
“Each year at the Motorsports Show, we have featured a special racing reunion,” Len Sammons, show organizer, said.
“In the past, we have featured Flemington, East Windsor, Reading, Trenton and Langhorne. Each of those tracks are no longer in operation, but thanks to the recent involvement of Halmar International’s Chris Larsen the future of Orange County is brighter than it has been in decades.”
Orange County Fair Speedway historian Doug Dulgarian, a former driver, will be helping organizing key drivers, car owners, officials and media members who based their career around the historic speedway to have them be an important part of the reunion.
Several historically significant race cars will be a major component of the showcase, as will hundreds of priceless speedway and race team artifacts.
Special autograph sessions will be planned with free collector cards signed by the great drivers and others on hand at the show who made their mark over the years on “The Hard Clay” right up to the 100th season finale Eastern States 200 on Sunday, October 27th.
“With Orange County having celebrated 2019 with a Centennial race weekend that featured a $100,000 to win Modified race we thought what a better way to end the great birthday celebration but at PPB Motorsports 2020,” said Sammons.
Exhibitors from the January, 2019 Motorsports show which featured an appearance by NASCAR legend Darrell Waltrip, have been invited to renew their display areas, move to new locations or expand their areas.
Show space is now open to new exhibitors. The 250,000 square feet of show space at this time is filling quickly as the show celebrates its 36th consecutive year of operation. For exhibitor information contact Danny Sammons at 609-888-3618 or email him at Danny@aarn.com.
