BATAVIA, OH (March 5, 2020) – Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series officials announce Miller Welders as a returning, Official Partner of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and sponsor for the 2020 Chassis Builders Challenge Program. The Miller Welders Chassis Builders program will award points to each chassis builder at series events, based on their finishing positions. Miller Electric Mfg. LLC, is headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin and is the leading welding manufacturer of products for manufacturing, fabrication, construction, aviation, motorsports, education, agriculture, and marine applications. Miller Welders wanted to align their company with the Chassis Builders Program in 2020 to honor all of the great chassis builders, mechanics, and welders that assemble the racecars that race with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
Miller Welders also supplied the industrial welder/generator for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Safety Truck. The series Safety Truck travels to all the series events and is outfitted with special equipment and tools to assist in: removing drivers from their cars (in case of a major wreck), repairing fencing, facility repairs, and any job at race events.
“Miller Welders has been a supporter of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for many years. We feel their sponsorship and alignment with the Chassis Builders Program is a great fit for their company. Honoring the chassis builders and their employees at the year-end awards banquet will be a special award for the Chassis Builder of the Year. We look forward to working with everyone at Miller Welders in 2020,” stated Wayne Castleberry, Corporate Motorsports Sales and Marketing for Lucas Oil Motorsports.
