WEEDSPORT, NY (June 6, 2019) – A fantastic field of winged 410 Sprint Cars is expected at Weedsport Speedway on Sunday for the All-Star Circuit of Champions All-Star Showcase, including current Williams Grove Speedway (PA) point leader, Danny Dietrich.
Dietrich currently holds seven 410 Sprint Car main event wins this season, with two of those coming at Williams Grove and another with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at Bridgeport Speedway in New Jersey.
Another expected Pennsylvania traveler on Sunday is Lucas Wolfe, who currently rides sixth in points at both Williams Grove and Port Royal Speedways. Wolfe is a familiar face at Weedsport Speedway, having competed at The Port several times in recent years with the All-Stars, World of Outlaws and ESS Sprint Cars.
Future NASCAR Hall of Famer, Tony Stewart, will also be in the lineup on Sunday joining his weekly cast of All-Star competitors.
Leading the full-time contingent of All-Star drivers is Aaron Reutzel, Paul McMahan, Dale Blaney, Spencer Bayston, Cory Eliason, Skylar Gee, Brock Zearfoss, Greg Wilson and Gerard McIntyre.
Big Block Modifieds will return to Weedsport Speedway on Sunday, alongside Tony Stewart’s All-Star Circuit of Champions 410 Sprint Car Series, with a $500 bonus on the line for the highest finishing DIRTcar 358-Modified at the conclusion of 35-laps.
The overall payday for the second round of the Stirling Lubricants/Champion Racing Oil Modified Series will be $3,000 and it’s no secret that a hooked up 358-Modified could be in the running for Victory Hill.
Fulton Speedway regular, Todd Root, was the highest finishing 358-Modified in the Heroes Remembered 100 on Monday, May 27, making him the early favorite for the bonus pay this coming weekend.
Erick Rudolph currently leads the Stirling Lubricants/Champion Racing Oil Modified Series standings over Billy Decker, Stewart Friesen, Max McLaughlin and Larry Wight.
The overall series champion will receive a $2,000 check at the conclusion of the five-race series, which will see round three take place on Sunday, June 16 on the same card as the USAC National Sprint Car Series.
