Speedway, Indiana (July 8, 2019)………A 20-plus hour drive from the most recent series race in Ventura, Calif. to Tuesday’s USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship round in Meeker, Okla. brings a pair of drivers currently in the top-four of USAC’s Western States Midget standings, Robert Dalby and Shannon McQueen, to the Heartland of America for “Mid-America Midget Week” July 9-14.
Dalby, of Anaheim, Calif., has been a top contender in recent years on the Western States campaign where he currently resides third in the series standings. This year, he was the fastest qualifier and finished 2nd at California’s Santa Maria Raceway in April, then finished 3rd in the most recent event in June at Ventura (Calif.) Raceway.

This year, she’s finished in the top-ten in all four of her Western States starts: 8th at Bakersfield, 10th at Merced, 5th at Santa Maria and 7th at Ventura and occupies the 4th spot in the standings.
