FOURTH ANNUAL ‘GOBBLER’ SET TO GO ON SATURDAY AT ACCORD SPEEDWAY

Accord NY.- November 25, 2016- Accord Speedway is ready to bring down the curtain on the 2016 outdoor dirt-track season this Saturday with a favorable forecast.
The fourth annual ‘Gobbler’ is headlined by the ‘Mashed Potato’ Modifieds racing 50 laps for a $5,000 winner’s share. Sportsman battle in the ‘Turkey 25’ with $1,500 on the line (Open vs. Crate), plus ‘Pumpkin Pie’ Pure Stocks racing for a $650 winner’s share in the Ron Wright Memorial and Allstar Slingshots racing for $300 to win. The day’s events will be wrapped up by a side of Four Cylinder Enduro ‘pudding’ – 100 laps in distance.
Calls have reached the speedway office from Delaware to Ontario with interested racers.
Competitors: fuel will be on sale at the track and East Coast Speed will provide parts service and sell American Racer tires.
For the ‘Gobbler’ event, pit gates will open at 10 a.m. Grandstand gates unlock at 11 a.m. Hot laps begin at 1 p.m. with racing to follow at 2 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $24 for Adults. Seniors (ages 65 and over) pay $22. Kids under 11 pay $5. Pit admission is $35.
